Patrick founded Wicked Balloons and serves as our lead pilot. A lifelong aviation enthusiast, he fell for ballooning the first time he watched an envelope fill with fire and lift off into a New England dawn — and he has been chasing sunrises ever since.
As an FAA-certificated balloon pilot, Patrick handles everything from reading the morning winds to guiding first-time flyers through a smooth, gentle landing. He also leads the team behind our special-shape and film & TV balloons. When he isn't in the basket, he's usually planning the next flight.
